Waiting





she waits with her child
beside green walled window, lost 
as a stray kitten

she waits for the day
green paint of her wall, splashes 
dusty ground she walks

  1. Nice job, really like these, In the first, the kitten image is universal and the two-word consonance works well in walled window. In the second one, I really like the inversion of typical diction, really comes off strong. Thanks
