Gate to Spring

open gate to spring,
throw out the sunflower seeds,
grey pigeons hover

grey pigeons hover
 muddy stones and barren wells,
winter frost melting

winter frost melting
locked windows and bolted doors,
open gate to spring

  4. you're doing an amazing job with the haiku challenge, some really nice pieces. I like the full circle aspect and the notions of gates as you depict here, especially in the way you surrounded the image of these gates with elements from nature, the mud, the seeds, the frost- great job.

    1. I, too, am impressed by the way you have "circled round" this theme. I am also appreciative of the positive note of your circling. Thank you for an uplifting (and not a mind-numbing) read!
