    Lovely layers of colourful characters - seemingly representing the 3 stages of humanity - or perhaps the 3 sages?

    a beautiful, colorful vision of a healthy diet.....I picture an outdoor fruit market....and, yes, eating watermelon makes me feel like a kid, too - its so messy! Enjoyed photo, too

    A nice set of haiku/senryu, Grace. Your "Fruity Summer" title ties them together for me. A "Long Hot Summer" comes to mind, the song by Keith Urban. But I don't know why.
