tickled pink-

Do you see her
striped pink bottoms
sitting on couch
bubbly cuddly?

Do you hear her
giggles, squeals
while slurping juice
from my cooler?

When I tell her
Move!  She wiggles
munching popcorn
so happily

I must be daft:
I'm the only one
who sees elephant
in the room, grin-
ning ear to ear.

  4. Thank-you for replacing mayhem with mirth. We all need a good dose of that today, I tried to be a little more light-hearted (for me) & introspective.

  7. Your the only one seeing the pleasant visitor, slurping juice on the couch. Livens up a grey world!

  8. I appreciated the lightheartedness of this. There are enough "elephants" in our lives and in our world.

  11. You could certainly have a worse visitor than the delightful pink elephant. I'd ask him to stay.
