Summer feast

when summer sun climbs

ladder of dust

cycle me to the footpath

of sea stones, shells and twigs

lake water, a flute of harmony

blue sky, scattered bed of feathers

swans dive to catch food

i linger under shades to savor feast

of berries

  2. Your cycle route is so idyllic, Grace. We don't have a lake close by. We do have the sea but it is quit ea long ride away for me.

  3. I like the phrase, "cycle me to the footpath" showing that it's something you cannot keep from doing, to be with your dear ones in your place of sanctification.

  4. Lovely Grace. We have all kinds of water nearby, except the beach which is two hours away. I loved this gentle and beautiful trip with you.
