Solstice

We walk with long shadows trailing
As sun sets with hues unveiling

Orange and red weaves with soft blue
We guzzle summer's heady brew

Red roses carpet, scent of green
Misting our brows with sweaty sheen

On the horizon, half-moon rises
Silvering lips stained by spices

The coming of Summer can perhaps trigger off a round of dining to ward off the heat of day!

  13. I love the evening walks you can do in summer... but very few moons are showing on the bright skies of Sweden.
