daydreaming

it's pink pebble
on palm of frothy shore

ringed by remnants
of corals, shells, dead starfish

above, sun splashes blue sky
oblivious to the quarrels of birds

palm trees flick
buzzing wings glinting of jewels

under striped umbrella,
snoring waves rock me to daydream

  1. I wish I was daydreaming right about now.

I feel a bit of serenity in between - and definitely the need for a nap. Or maybe that is just me.

yep, its cold here too. but I can dream warmer.

  4. Such halcyon imagery--as we battle high winds and rain here; very nice sense of place and transporting us along. I like your lines /blue sky/oblivious to the quarrels of birds/.
