Haiku: The bamboo forest

gentle sway of breeze
brush of bamboo leaves - music
strings the night in gold

above lantern lights
moon sparkles like diamond,
beating steadfast heart

~0~0~0~


my mother tells me:
grow upright like a bamboo
& nourish your sons

    Leaves let both rain and shade in
    habitat within.


    I forgot how much I like haiku--thanks Grace. Bamboo is a cool plant for any moderate climate. Shelter, food. o2 eaters.
