Maple tree

Japanese maple
tree of autumn's splendour
casting colourful spell

Umbrella of fire
blooming amidst cool season
belle of the fall

russet autumn leaves
flooding the city's landscape
nature's wallpaper

  4. Three wonderful haiku Grace.
A couple of tremendous lines that speak volumes - 'belle of the fall' - very clever and - 'natures wallpaper' - wouldn't mind that in the front room.
    Thanks for a great read.

  7. Belle of the fall and nature's wallpaper are felicitous lines which I shall remember when our Liquidambar tree starts to turn - at the moment incessant rain is keeping it green, and the tail end of hurricane Katya may strip the leaves before they reach their glory.
