Start today

Life is so precious.
Some days you want to go back in time and relive all the beautiful moments.
Or even redo some missteps. But the challenges make us stronger and a better person.
 Start today; its another day.

Have a wonderful weekend ~

Small steps

Summer is too short a season for us.   So we marvel each warm day, knowing that in the coming months it will be cold season.

As for myself, I have enrolled in another certification program by end of the year.  I don't want to make excuses that I don't have time for personal study or for being contented where I am, career wise.   Small steps but hopefully in the long run it will pay off when an opportunity comes along.   In the meantime, I keep myself busy with writing poetry and prose.   Who knows someday, I may write or publish a book.  Small steps, big dreams.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend ~

Ocean Sky

I watched this beautiful video and it is amazing !

I wanted to write a verse,  a poem or a story
but I found out words can't describe the sheer
beauty of our galaxy.

Amateur astronomer Alex Cherney spent a year compiling 31 hours of exposure over six nights on Southern Ocean Coast in Australia into "Ocean Sky," the stunning video that took home the overall prize at the STARMUS astrophotography competition.
The STARMUS site says of the winning entry:
"In this compilation see our Galaxy, rising and setting over the turbulent Southern Ocean, connecting the distant stars to that other fascinating interface, the ocean shore. In between the action comes from the scudding clouds and the only evidence of life, coastal shipping and the occasional aircraft darting through the night. Beyond our galaxy, its nearest galactic neighbours, the Magellanic clouds, rise high in the sky, while moonrise suddenly reveals the remarkable landscape of Australia's south coast."

What would you do?

I would fly the plane and see the world.

I would dive and explore the water world.

I would write and publish a book.

I would paint and draw.
