Spring wishes

Spring showers, wild honeycombs, bed of seeds
Swirl last snowflake to dust, grey to green buds
Our skin is pale moon under pewter sky
Spring showers, wild honeycombs, bed of seeds
Soak our words with birdsongs, maple & spice
Our faces are flowers, dewed by dusk

  1. I love that strong wish in all those buds going for grey to green, but most of all our pale faces.. it doesn't matter that the sky is pewter..

  2. We are both looking forward to spring in our poems, whether showers, flowers or hares! I love the lines:
‘Our skin is pale moon under pewter sky’
    and
‘Our faces are flowers, dewed by dusk’.
