Sunflower dreams during winter

Grace @ Everyday Amazing

Yellow petals stitched
    bewitched
By sun, a golden shawl
    I fall
for your charms
Lying in your arms
Tangled in honey kisses, no thorns
    to prick my knees
I am giddy as bee
Bewitched, I fall (again), into your arms

I think this must be your dream of spring to come, Grace, and it's a beautiful one.

  10. I love that you used such a beautiful poem to tuck secrets inside. The honey kisses are surely something any bee would come to you for. I personally favor thorns, but I'm quite sure I'm in the minority.

  17. Oh smiling I am. My favorite flower of all time.....the sunniest, happiest flower in my mind. Would that I could be a bee, wrapped up in its love! Really enjoyed this one -- late to the bar I am. Posting and reading on Saturday....so nice and warm to read this over my Saturday cup of coffee. Happy I am!
