Awakening

                                                   Yellow-frayed memory
                                                   Cutting deep wounds
                                                   Black inferno
                                    Twisting sky
                                    Into backward time relapse
                                    Dripping melancholy
                                                  Gather them all
                                                  Ink and pen, cloud seeds
                                                  Verses, red
                        Stories, orange
                        White escape
                        Revitalizing spirit
                                                 Awakening eyes
                                                 Magical
                                                                journey

  1. Look at your tornado shaping! SO cool. :)

This is awesome: "Yellow-frayed memory / Cutting deep wounds / Black inferno"

Writing and examining IS a magical journey that can provide healing ... or make you crazy. Definitely one or the other. ;)

  4. I love how your poem is laid out to look like a twister. You begin with such a strong image, and the poem gathers momentum all the way through to the last word.

    Stories, orange
    White escape
    Revitalizing spirit

  27. Some memories are truly not very good to wake. But "white escape - revitalizing spirith"! And the white escape is Christ. We are not slaves to the sin but got loose by the love of Christ! Thank you Lord!

    Nice touch!
