the bassist

unfinished music sheets & riffs

untied laces on messy floor

unhurried words, disconnected

unguarded, you could have fooled me

music is your pill, oxygen

muffling all the suttered sadness

muscles uncoil, your fingers fly

mutiny of blues & fire storm

  1. Oh.. I like the mood in this... from that messy life comes such wonderful bass-beat, something for us all to breathe.

  4. I love the way you captured the sound of a bass in the repetition of ‘un’, Grace. I also like the phrase ‘music is your pill’. You certainly showed us how to write the form!
