Wings over the sky

i blued over your heavenly feathers

with all the tender songs

now as autumn wind

paints

sunflowers brown

green leaves to ochre

roses to crushed velvet black

and sky calls you

with aubergine & red-orange sunsets

i will linger

by the door, gathering seeds

    now as autumn wind
    paints sunflowers
    brown
    green leaves
    to ochre
    roses
