the Goddess in the garden

Summer comes pitted fruit seeds, we savor its core like wine
Dripping yellow thick, we pant like fishes out of the sea
We strip clothes, mad as bees, wishing we don't have two arms & two feet !

  4. You have painted a perfect vision of the madness of summer, the heat, ripe fruit, and complete abandonment if we are lucky!

  6. Feet, in particular, get in the way of stripping off clothes. Fantastic written-in-BC poem making me think of BC beaches in the summer sun. Thank you!
