Great mood for Halloween.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderfully written ... scary :-)
ReplyDeletei like the calming smells there in the last bit, perhaps at having escaped the haunted house....smiles...we took the kids last night to a halloween event and the haunted hallway was a bit creepy to say the least...really nice on your imagery and it setting the tone before the release in the end...hope you have a wonderful weekend grace...
ReplyDeleteenchanting, and love the pic too, my dear!
ReplyDeleteOh, I really love that third one, Grace! And the picture goes so very well with all!

It gets somewhat eerie, Grace! But all the ingredients that relate to spiritual elements help to soften the feelings! Nicely!

A little bit creepy but comes off so well, just don't go and cast a spell.
ReplyDeleteWonderfully, magically composed set of haiku.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this set of magical spells:) Particularly the second with the Gem Elixir.
ReplyDeleteVery eerie and spine-chilling. I can feel thousands of ice-cubes flowing throughout my senses. Well-written and capable of retaining the Halloween spirit.

ReplyDeletewonderful images, scents, and meaning......
ReplyDeleteQuite witchy! Loved it :-)
ReplyDeletealoha Grace - i like the first ku especially. it has a great comparison between the two sections - shadows being dark and white candles being light. both are strong images and encompass a great range for "restless souls" (imo). cool. aloha.
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the prompt, and quite scary.
