obsession with words
letters, phrases, syllables
to write perfect verse
racing against time
catching thoughts in mid-air flight
to rest in our hands
0~0~0
sand trickling hourglass,
every second counts as time,
won't wait nor tarry
moments carved in glass,
wrapping the past with colours
irreplaceable
One Single Impression: Hourglass

Wonderful set of haiku:)
ReplyDeleteObsession of words makes every writer strive to give a perfect verse. Beautiful haiku, and the image is so very colourful, unlike the brown ones, and lively that reflects haiku.:)
ReplyDeleteGreat treatments for both prompts. Enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to that first verse a lot :) Very beautiful, Grace!
