I never wear hats
nor dull colors black & grey
Summer fashions my dress
Red bold & flaming stripes
And lo, I am crowned- queen of season!

Thanks for the visit ~
I love colour and vibrance in fashion art and poetry...in life in fact ! Nice pic.
ReplyDeleteI love that you brought another Totomai to base a fashion poem on. He knws how to capture the flair, and then understatte it in a title like "stripes." Whether the flower itself or a person in those choices, the images and colors are magnifique andd "always in fashion." (I can imagine you dressed in these colors.)
ReplyDeletehet how beautiful Grace!!!
ReplyDelete"Queen of season" is definitely a good descriptor!
ReplyDeleteSure the queen that creates quite the scene
ReplyDeletesmiles...love the dresses of the flowers....
ReplyDeletethough they are way out of season right now...
too cold for such delicate dresses...ha
queen indeed
Flowers are a great way to depict what someone wears because it tells the colors someone prefers and the style that someone likes.
ReplyDeletea queen of spring. just being you can make you fashionable.
ReplyDeleteI love the "queen of season"!!
ReplyDeleteGreat words with the picture make the perfect ensemble.
ReplyDeletethe color and the season.. I live in a town where fashion is always black, would love some color :-)
ReplyDeleteShe is magnificent!
ReplyDeleteThe vibrancy of color--it leads one down a whole mindset of possibility. I am the king of night I suppose because gray is the most colorful article of dress i inhabit. I prefer the night, it is when all is quiet and the stillness becomes colorful and alive.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to be queen. Nice piece Grace!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I like that Queen of the Season!
ReplyDeleteQueen of The Season is a wondrous thing to be. It is good to be queen.
ReplyDeleteLovely! Who wouldn't want a lively, colourful season... but black & white & gray are pretty cute too.. hehe...
ReplyDeletenice - did you want crown to be crowned ?
ReplyDeleteYes, thanks Bill ~
Deletecolour and vibrant lighting up a grey dull world
ReplyDelete"Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these." Lovely!
ReplyDeleteabsolutely beautiful-amazing
ReplyDeleteLove how you used colors and the photo for this fashion statement. I am not so bold when it comes to dressing.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!! Beauty indeed!
ReplyDeleteMake that statement.
ReplyDeleteAnd a fine queen too - friendly than the Red queen I am sure ;)
ReplyDeleteLove this poem and I love the idea of always wearing happy colors, especially in the winter time when everything else seems to be dull and grey. Happy colors make for a good mood at all times :)
