Fragility

Fragile
leaves, I’m a tree
unyielding, like a storm
I’ll not lay blame on changing clouds,
nor the quickening sands, moulding my hands
into pearls, layered hard, shiny -
Peel away  skin  at  night:
blood, scars, fears- I’m
Fragile

Mirror sky

Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia by Tomas Rowski

I walk
Sea of salt flat
Emptiness pulls, gaping
Silence which thunders in my ears,
Sky ricochets my thoughts, unborn & free
When it rains, pristine as snowflakes,
The sky is a mirror
beckoning, so
I walk

until words untangle, drift like clouds, carelessly float as paper boats, then fold

unresisting into the page, sculptured stones

Pink blooms

Grace @ Everyday Amazing

pink blooms
bursting like waves
upon the cold spring breeze
garlands weave, casting aside leaves
and modesty, like sassy show troupers-
painting the sky iridescent-
i drink in your beauty
-swift as sunset-
pink blooms
