Helianthus annuus
you shape my face
by light
you spice my lips
of storms
my stem reaches to sky
wrinkling gradient of darkness
to brightest shades
you fill my cheeks
of seeds & quills in
perfect symmetry & florets
in swirling harmony-
a flower, cluster of flowers, crown
of flowering spirals, bouquets of sun-
shine
for you-
