I burn sage till my fingers numb
I walk firm on my path
Though the sun is a distant drum
And hate is on warpath
Make this heart of mine, a river
Ever flowing, grandly
Make these palms garden, cloud, slither
tilling this earth kindly
We are fashion from the same cloth
Let's share tales, bowls of soup
Knitting common threads, cutting swaths
of hues, all in a hoop
