lighter than air

when darkest of night come

or coldest of the hour seep

your skin to shivering blue

when loudest of silence

or biggest self-doubts stand

as black-eyed monster in path

remember the candlelight

inside you

allow forgiveness

allow a helping hand

bestowing, un-

bounding grace

  1. LOVE "bestowing un," as if we can give someone the gift of undoing, of unknowing, of un-being things that don't suit them. YES.

  5. I like the structure of the first two stanzas, that make the reader slow down and get ready for the first line of the 3rd. Very nicely done, Grace.

  14. We reap what we sow. There's a great correlation between people who generously offer grace and those people's inner peace. Lovely!
