Into Infinity

when night turns my bones to rust
and my wanderlust heart rolls away-
obliterate me into stardust

that i may see the light of million mirrors
without beginnings or endings
stretching into corridors of infinity

  5. Just gorgeous Grace, poem and image! I love the (internal) rhyme of rust/wanderlust/stardust and the thought of a million mirrors 'stretching into corridors of infinity', which reminds me of my grandmother's dressing table mirrors which, if you angled them correctly, would create the illusion of never ending mirror images.

  25. Pondering what it's like to tread down a corridor of infinity -- idyllic or irksome? Either way, this reads wonderfully.
