  2. A very interesting approach to the prompt here, Grace! Love it when someone tries something different. I do agree that the last straw is not often out of the blue...it has been building. Love 'bleeding fragments in space.'

  4. ok i love the play with the word size and font....and you are right it is the little small ones...the 1000 papercuts that take us out eventually....also true on how it can hurl us on another path...each end is a new beginning....

  9. Cool experiments here. Like a collage.. and those endings are beginnings are so cool... I get impressions of a black-mail letter made out of newspaper clippings... :-)

  10. ...clever to use idioms not alone in words but also on what you didn't convert to something solid & only stays light like the air we breathe Grace... i can def see the influences of the movies you watched here... endings are beginnings -- yes indeed as what i often think they are... your experimental vibe is quite inspiring that i kind of like wanna try it sometime in the future... smiles...

  12. Are you a Trekki? Shouldn't start there but the reference makes me think of DH and that makes me smile. I'm a Trekki by association. Anyhoo, yes, yes, yes to it all. Though I still haven't quite gotten how the words in parentheses work. Did I mention I'm a lousy speller?

  16. Another vote for bleeding fragments in space! What a great line. I like the experimentation here a lot- the experimental typography adds nuance where it may not have been noticed before. Great job! -Mike

  20. Wow Grace. What you can do with idioms is amazing. How well you describe the angst of a writer, starting over again, the re-write, the new beginning. Loved this.

  28. I really enjoyed your formatting. I also try so hard to think of endings as beginnings. Endings make me very sad.
