autumn leaves
cover the ground - soft carpet
of afternoon sky

cool wind gathers 
pine cones and green needles,
warm bed for winter

maple tree 
shiver in dress of dying colors - 
she dreams of tulips

  18. All these haiku describe the miracles we see in Fall. The same kind of miracles happen with each seasonal change and subtle changes in between those. A lot of things to witness and think about. Very nice.
