Pepper




her laughter
like black whole pepper,  
crinkled over bowl of noodles  

~0~0~0

his lecture 
woke up the sleepy audience, 
slice of orange zest 

~0~0~0

spicy sauce
dotted the conversation, 
as a lace strap falls

  4. The last one woke me up (I've just been out for a meal) and was a leap from the first two! I think the imagery in the first is the strongest.
