scented with lavender lace,
story of undying love

mother's words
lingered on frail paper,
our bold inspiration

family secrets
hovered on frayed threads
in time:  sands in the wind

  10. nice....reading old letters is cool...it kinda takes you back to a time...or enlightens you on one you have not been to....being in their handwriting as well there is another connection...a touch of who they were...

  11. I used to love the way they used to put a dab of perfume on letters. They still did it as late as when I was a kid in the 60's.
