Morning walk




morning sun
colors the shores gold,
pure honey

crushed-shell sands
soft in morning walk,
 perfect gems

calming breeze
bed of rocks and reef,
open sea

  9. In his HH meme, Leo has held you up as an example of the true haiku form. I always think being singled out by the teacher is excruciating, and yet under the severe pressure, you've succeeded in still writing to your own truth and in your own marvelous voice!!

  16. Nice set of Haiku, Grace. I was ready to go walking along the beach after reading the first one. Soooo peaceful, matches the picture's mood perfectly.

    The other two have a message for my walking, though. "Better keep your shoes on for beach walking on this beach."
