Lighthouse

white space of silence
wraps the blue waters, colder
than winter's embrace

yonder the rocks edge,
lone sentinel stands erect,
waiting for lost ships

  4. An ideal form for these images! Haiku as simple as the lighthouse design, as deep as the waters that surround it. Lovely.
