Passage

steady rushing sound
water twirls, marches to beat
gateway to new lands

eagle wings soaring
ragged mountains in slumber
gentle solitude

ashes in the urn
scattered in river he loves
spirit soaring sky

  1. Excellent illustration of the eternal passageway. Each stanza is really good and the ashes in the urn/scattered in river he loves/spirit soaring sky really adds a mortal presence in a poem that is mainly up until that point a wondrous flow of nature and emotive movement. Really great job here. Thanks

  10. I indeed loved the third one, so full of spirituality. Showing our path to eternity, just like this haiku suite.
